Meet the Founder
Summit Supported Living Services was founded by William Armstrong, who brings more than 12 years of experience in the health care field. His career began in hands-on, direct care and grew into leadership, including several years directing client services and daily operations at a supported living company. He holds a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in Health Care Administration and has worked across the full continuum of care, from skilled nursing and memory care to one-on-one support for individuals with disabilities.
That blend of frontline care and operational leadership is the foundation Summit is built on. Having worked at every level of the field, from providing direct care to overseeing daily operations, William has seen firsthand what quality support requires and where it too often falls short. Summit reflects his own vision for what dependable, person-centered support should look like when it is done right.
William started Summit out of a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of people who need it most. Throughout his career, it has always been the people that keep him grounded in this work. He finds real meaning in helping individuals live with comfort, dignity, and independence in their own homes. He is equally committed to giving back to the Eau Claire community he is proud to serve.
