Medication Management
For many adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, consistent medication routines are essential to health and stability. Our caregivers are trained to provide reliable medication support as part of each person's daily routine. We work in coordination with families, guardians, and the individual's care team.

Support can include:
-
Medication reminders and verbal cues
-
Assistance with pre-set medications and pill organizers
-
Monitoring that medications are taken correctly and on time
-
Tracking and documenting medication routines
-
Communicating changes or concerns to families and care coordinators

Consistent medication support means fewer missed doses and fewer errors. It also means one less thing for families to worry about.

Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Daily routines are the foundation of independent living. Our caregivers provide one-on-one assistance with personal care while encouraging each individual to do as much as they can for themselves. We never take over. We support. Every routine is built around the person's preferences, abilities, and goals, so care feels familiar and dignified rather than clinical.

Support can include:
-
Bathing, showering, and personal hygiene
-
Dressing and grooming
-
Toileting and continence care
-
Safe transfers and mobility assistance
-
Morning and evening routines that build daily structure

Some individuals need hands-on help. Others need standby assistance or simply verbal cues and reminders. We match our support to each person's level of independence, and we adjust as that independence grows.
Light Housekeeping
A clean, organized home supports both safety and wellbeing. Our caregivers help individuals maintain their living space. Wherever possible, we do it with them rather than for them. Household tasks become opportunities to build daily living skills and pride in their home.

Support can include:
-
Laundry, folding, and changing bed linens
-
Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen tidy
-
Vacuuming, dusting, and general tidying
-
Taking out trash and recycling
-
Keeping walkways and living areas clutter-free and safe

A manageable home environment reduces stress and prevents accidents. It makes independent living sustainable.

Community Support

Staying connected to the community is part of a full, independent life. Our caregivers provide reliable support with the essential trips that keep daily life running, and we help individuals build the skills and confidence to engage with their community.

Support can include:
-
Accompaniment to medical and dental appointments
-
Grocery shopping and essential errands
-
Support with banking, pharmacy visits, and other necessities
-
Encouraging participation in social and community activities
-
Building confidence and safety skills for public spaces and routines

Community support services are tailored to each person's care plan and authorized services. We work with each individual and their care team to identify the outings and activities that matter most.
Safety Supervision
Independence and safety go hand in hand. Our caregivers provide attentive supervision tailored to each individual's needs. For some, that means continuous 24/7 support. For others, it means overnight monitoring or check-ins during specific parts of the day. We focus on preventing problems before they happen, while respecting each person's privacy and autonomy.

Support can include:
-
24/7 or scheduled in-home supervision
-
Fall prevention and home safety awareness
-
Support during activities that require extra oversight
-
Redirection and de-escalation support when needed
-
Emergency response and immediate communication with families

Families tell us the greatest value of safety supervision is simple. It is knowing someone reliable is there.

Nutrition Planning & Meal Support

Good nutrition supports physical health, energy, mood, and independence. We work with each individual and their family or care team to plan meals that fit their dietary needs, cultural preferences, and personal tastes. Just as importantly, we involve individuals in the process. Building practical kitchen and shopping skills grows independence over time.

Support can include:
-
Planning around dietary needs and preferences
-
Grocery list building and shopping assistance
-
Meal preparation and cooking support
-
Encouraging hydration and balanced eating habits
-
Teaching kitchen safety and simple cooking skills

Food is also connection. We make mealtimes something to look forward to, not just a task to complete.
Companionship
Connection matters as much as care. Our caregivers provide supportive companionship that brings positivity, encouragement, and a familiar face to each day. For many individuals, a consistent caregiver becomes a trusted part of their routine and a real source of confidence.

Support can include:
-
Conversation and one-on-one social time
-
Shared activities, games, hobbies, and interests
-
Encouragement with daily routines and personal goals
-
Companionship during meals and downtime
-
A consistent, familiar presence that builds trust over time

Loneliness and isolation affect health and wellbeing. Steady companionship helps each person feel seen, supported, and motivated in their daily life.
